2010 Buggy Set Up - 14.02.10

We often get asked what set up we are using, so over the next few weeks will be putting online my complete set up.

At the moment I am riding and almost 100% standard Flexifoil Scout Buggy. It has had some minor adjustments made to suit my tech tricks and riding style.

  • Headstock Stopper Removed - This allows for the Forks to Spin which allows for Forkspins.
  • Seat Slits - This is done on the rear of the seat to allow me to ride with a 3 point seat belt system rather than 2 point.

+ Foot Straps
The footsraps are the older style Kitesurf binding from Flexifoil with 1 side screwed into the footpegs as normal, with then the other side having a piece of cord that is knotted through the hole in the footstrap. This then goes around front forks and then into the other foot strap. Using the velcro of the footstraps you can get it exteremly tight and comfortable.

+ Seat Belt
The seat belt is a 3 point system coming from both side of the rear axle and then joins at the downtube/siderail connection point. I will go into more detail on this in another article!

+ Belly Pan
I'm using a RIPS belly pan with a stickered clear protctor on top (Cosmetic Purpose's only). I use RIPS as i have landed on several items in the past few years and it has always held up and done what it is meant to do, protect you! There are others out there but these seem to be more aimed at the cosmetic market rather than protecting you from landing on things! I am still riding the same belly pan from almost 6 years ago!
