Well my website has not been given much of an update of late, it’s not that I haven’t been doing anything, it’s been down to lack of free time!
This year was the start of the BKSA kiteival series which saw the start of the First major national tour for Freestyle Buggying & Landboarding. I could not make it to the first round due to injury from car accident so this was the first Kiteival event for me, and what an event!

At most events we often do not get the wind we want, but this event had stacks of it! The Saturday was the main day of the competition with winds in the 30’s I opted for the 9m Neutron. Myself and Dave went out for a pre comp warm up and were busting out some huge airs and tricks.

I was able to Win my first round against Frazier, this put me into the final. I did a few technical tricks and most tricks normal & switch. Will also won his heat and was put through to the Final. Dave worked his way back into the final so it was a 3 way heat with Myself against Will and Dave. The area had a large pot holed bit in the middle which made it interesting. I put out some moves but didn’t get out all the tricks I had hoped to. The ground was pretty messed up which meant landing tricks to 2 wheels powered the back wheels just slid out sadly. It was a close heat with all 3 judges having different results. I came in 3rd which I was a little disappointed with with Dave in second and Will taking the win. Will had got more tricks out so a deserved win. Myself & Dave had the height on the tricks but Will being on the Blade was able to bust out a few more moves!

Had a great crack and laugh which is all that mattered!
Bring on round 3 at Redcar on the 8th of October
