Afternoon Beach Session - 06.05.07
Well after getting back from Just Add Wind event in scotaldn (see events for write up) at midnight i was not expecting the next day to be heading to the beach 3 hours away. However if the wind is blowing its amazing what a kiter will do for that session!
After not having much wind in scotland and getting a phone call to say there was plenty at the beach it was too good to turn down.
The wind was blwoing a nice 20mph Cross Shore breeze ideal for boosting powered loops on the 6.5, aswell as working on some wake style tricks ive got in mind.
The kite loops were sick, landing at such speed but in full control and on a few the kite was going for the 2nd loop on landing allowing nice smooth powered slides out of the trick. Perfect!
During the day the wind statrtd to switch more to a sligh cross off, not great for these sort of moves so took it more easy with standard moves, 360 foot outs, reverse transitions.
Later on we had a mess about recreational flying, jumping off the dunes, downwind skudding races, and just general messing about!
Was a superb little session with plenty of good memoeries being brought back.
