Black Rock Sands - 13.12.06
Huge thanks to Kite Fantastic for organizing the bash. With the long jounrey to North Wales i decided to travel up on the Friday to make the journey as easy as possible and hopefully get some kiting in.
However something freaky happened on route, literally as soon as i went past the Welcome to Wales sign it started to rain and did not ease off, so i took a detore and went and visited the Crew @ turbulence. Thanks guys for the coffee and lunch!
With the rain not clearing i was in no rush to get to the beach so i took a gnetle drive down. Being my first visit to BRS i took a drive onto the beach to check it out where i was met by Richy so we both decided to take a trip to the Pub!
Later on the evening we all chilled out then went to bed in the doom. There were around 13 people in the room and all but 2 people ether snored or talked in there sleep. It was Hell!!
Saturday morning came with little wind, so we all took the trip down to the coast to check it out. Being light the weapon of choice was the 8.5 so we made do. Even though we were not powered it was a great session with some technical tricks.
Saturday night was spent down local pub enjoy there beverages. With one spair room left with 2 beds me and Richy grabbed that opportunity to get a good nights kip.
Sunday was no wind, and i mean no wind. So we chilled out and as the morning went by everyone started to leave.
