Bran Sessions - 20.04.09

Having been out for some time I was in dyer need for a session and when the forecast for last Wednesday was a 20mph cross shore there was no way I was going to miss the opportunity! With early afternoon low tide I headed to the beach after my physio!

At first the wind was 20mphish and quite smooth so managed to get some decent session in boosting huge airs with lovely powered kite loops! During the session I grabbed some lunch & fellow flexifoil team rider Sy Leonard arrived. We sessioned the afternoon but as the afternoon went on the wind increased and the cleanness of the wind disappeared into some gusty horrible stuff!, so we called it a day.

Saturday was a late afternoon tide so headed to the beach aroubd lunch time, at home it was very warm & sunny so was in shorts, t-shirt & flipflops but at arriving at the beach it was like a winters day! Coat, hoody & snowboard pants!

The wind was superb though, nice onshore and able to boost some sweet jumps. I had also wanted to try out some trick variations and also landed a few completely new tricks so was pretty stoked about the session! Towards the end everyone started to pack up and only myself & pete were left so we carried on till our bodies could take no more!

On the way home I refuelled with a KFC & diet coke, not what I was after but was distracted by someone on phone who was after a one!! Lesson learnt here.

As I was driving back the sun was going down so headed to Tibenham for a sunset session for about 30 mins on the 8.5.

Sunday woke to sunny day again so thought might aswell head to beach again! I arrived to not one other kiter on beach and not many general public. Blastered down to the zone and set up. The 8.5 was nicely powered and had a good 2 hour session. As the beach was quiet and having obtained a puncture for safety packed up incase something went wrong.

A great week of sessions and so good to be back out fully
