Myself & Lewis travel down to bristol kite festival to meet up with team members and demo power kiting at the UK's biggest & largest kite festival.
This year i was able to make bristol kite festival so at 4am myself and lewis loaded up the flexi van and drove down to the event in Bristol. After a quick & clear drive we rocked up at the event site around 9am.
We started to unload the van of all the goodies and were soon joined by Will. We set up the marquee and put the van on the side to have it fully logged up and put up all feather banners around the marquee.
Most of the day was spent talking to the public and telling them about all power kiting sports. In the afternoon we did a demo in the arena. The wind was light but managed to get a little airborne but nothing much. As they haven't seen power kiting all flatland tricks still impressed so when was lucky enough to get airborne they were very impressed.
Saturday night we went out in Bristol town centre for a few drinks and to relax after a long day!
Sunday was mainly the same, talk to the public and do a demo. The conditions were similar so 8.5 Blade was used to get a few small jumps.
After our demo the Heart FM girls came over for a chat as they wanted to get some photos and find out trying it! More females into the sport so hopefully they will enjoy it!
