Different kind of session ! - 17.10.07

A while ago myself & Sy headed to a secret spot on the North Norfolk Coast, a tank taster area which was Ideal for offroad buggying, sadly the land owner was not happy with that so alerted the police who warned us not to use it again.

Since then we have been trying to gain access to the site or another area similar. Recently Sy donated a Prize of a kite & lessons to a charity auction where another Norfolk land owner won the auction. This guy owns a very large area of land which he is allowing us to use.

The fields stretch for a large part of the coast line & are right on the coast so the wind is super clean. This day we had around 25-30mph of wind making it completely nuts. Flying the 4.0 boosting some smooth jumps, but talking it easy because of back. The side of field had some offroad parts that we made full use off, Sy got some video so hopefully a short video soon.

Splitting the fields were some bushes from around 5-7ft in height, being a freestyle these were perfect for jumping over! So myself and Sy starting jumping them & clearing them with ease. Out of no where on one jump the buggy started to 180 rotate taking me backwards over the bush. Sadly I landed right in the middle of the bush! Being powered I released the kite and let it land a few hundred meters downwind. Hardest part was trying to get out of the bush while laughing so much at what had just happened.

A great fun session with some firsts for sure, one being landing in a bush. Defiantly look forward to another session at this spot.
