Having had such a great time last year and all the hype that is Middle Wallop i had to go again. This year i decided to drive down to add to the fun. The journey down wasn't to bad with traffic not being heavy at all and on the M3 a nice police escort the whole way!

When i arrived a few other kiters had arrived but as traffic was so good we were there very early so a few of us went round the local museum. When we were finally allowed on we all set up for the weekend. After this the wind was up so a recreational fly had to be done to start the weekend off!

Saturday morning was sunshine with plenty of wind so all the riders were out riding and having fun. Down the bottom of the Field is a mound area wit ha few drops so we all decided to go down to this for some freestyling. This was a great start to the weekend with the wind blowing perfectly! Unfortunantly Saturday afternoon was showers which made the grass very wet and hard to ride so most people just chilled out and had fun.

Sunday morning was glorious sunshine and wind similar to the day before so again we all went out riding and headed down the bottom for a morning of fun. At lunch we all headed back to get something to eat and to have a break from a mornings hard riding. That afternoon was the same so again we headed down the bottom for some more riding. During this time on a tac back up wind, while on the tarmac my kite luffed, then powered up sliding me then flipping me on the tarmac! I was trapped and got dragged for approximately 6m's before i was flipped over again (Thanks Simon). Luckily all the safety's had been pulled to stop the dragging. I quickly noticed my knee pad had slipped down and that my leg had a very large gash so i quickly got my jump off to stop the bleeding. The event is organized so there are lots of marshal's around site for safety this meant help arrived  very quickly! After last years accident i don't think Mike & Mell were that impressed by my accident again!

As the cut was so deep i was taken to the Local A&E by St Johns Ambulance where i was told if i had been dragged anything i would have damaged muscle! Luckily i hadn't so they patched me up. I ended up with 6 stitches in leg and 2 in arm and was told to rest.

Back at the Event that evening i was very uncomfortable as the temperature was cooler. However it was worth it to see the film fest on a Huge 30ft Screen!!! This topped of the weekend well and the atmosphere was great!

Monday morning i realised i wasn't going to be able to drive back so luckily my parents came to pick me up! During the day kites left as the wind wasn't that great so i dint miss much flying at all!

I wonder if i will be allowed to the next one?
