After a pretty manic few months mixed with not having been very well I planned a week or so away to get some kiting in. I had to see someone in Wales so headed over that way for a few days mid week to spend some time there and chill out. The wind wasn't great but managed a Couple of water sessions and a land session in the Swansea Area. It was great to get some downtime in the area and see some of the local areas.
On the Saturday I headed down to Plymouth to meet up & stay with fellow Flexifoil Team Rider Will Mckean. I arrived mid afternoon to be greeted by the Crew at the house. We headed into town for some food.
That evening we went out into town to be shown "Uni" lifestyle! We met up with some fellow Windriders (Plymouth Uni Society) who were also out and dressed up in the christmas spirit! A lot of drinks were consumed so memories are blurred...

On the Sunday the House were having a Christmas meal so we headed down to the local supermarket and stocked up on food & booze!!
The wind over the next few days was pretty light and not possible to get a session in! Typical, having not been able to session at home due to the southerlies i was hoping that by moving to the wind i would get out! Over the next few days Will and the other housemates show'ed me the lifestyle of Uni! One night me and Will headed into town and ended up drinking a stupid amount of heavy shots, working out to around 15-20 shots each! The morning after was not a pretty site . .

Fellow Team Flexifoil Rider Will McKean & myself enjoying a night out!
As it was near Christmas a Windriders Social had been organised and in true Uni style it was fancy dress! This year we all went as snowmen and showed the town how to dress up haha!!!

It was not long before the drinks were getting downed and drinking rounds were soon on the go!

Drinking Contest's Soon Began . .
The next few days were spent recovering after 6 nights of heavy heavy drinking before the long drive back unto Norwich! Least I was heading back to snow . . .
Thanks to the Plymouth crew for a great week, it certainly was one of the high points of 2009! Some great memories . . . well blurry memories haha! Just a shame the wind did not come through at all over the week! Guttered in some ways!
