The planning behind the event is to have a nice jam session to start off the new season! This goes down well with all the riders as its a great chance to get to see everyone again! For this event i went down with Charlie from Flexifoil to help with the event.
Saturday saw no wind which allowed all the manufactures to show off the new kites for the new season and all the riders to chill out and socialise with each other.
That evening the party took place in a local Pub, this had a raffle with Vinda having some weird prizes. Hoggsy won a vodka scorpion but didn't have the courage to eat however Charlie was so out of it he out it and downed the vodka!
The next morning there were a few sore heads with Charlie having a weird taste in his mouth! Luckily for all the riders the wind was up at about 15mph so the riders were soon out on the water, throughout the day the wind picked and riders out pushing hard! As the tide was going out i went in a got kitted up and went out buggying. There has been some criticism from Surfers that the land guys are not kite looping but i decided to go out kite looping. This was in amazement from some of the surfers but on one of the jumps i lost power and came down pretty hard and broke my seat! This ended my day but luckily was late in the afternoon so didn't miss much flying.
