Secret Spot Freeride Session! - 01.05.07
It is a spot we have known about and checked out for the last year or so, but had not actually ridden.
We tried to get permission to ride it but to no luck, but as of the use it has during the day we KNEW we would not be doing any damage.
Back to the riding, the site is around 700-900 acres of clean smooth wind, but all offroad terrain ideal for freeride buggying. Myself and sy were buggying all over the place using all the obsticles, ranging from large ramps, to steep hills, drop offs, sandy & dusty roads to the huge fields of grass.
The way the site is set up it alllows for riding of the sandy roads transferring from road to road in sweet power slide transitions.
Boosting of the mounds and finding new lines to avoide obsticles kept you on your toes all session but with a huge smile at the same time. Having to approach items different to normal with kite posisition more important was all new again bringing back a bit of freshness to the sport!
What made it even better was the peace and quiet of the location with a percect sunset out over the beach.
If we could fly here more & legally that would be amazing, and is something we are going to work on.
