The Gathering @ Gwithian - 22.03.07
Friday i travelled down to stay with Richy, and what an evening spent playing the Wii! So much fun in a group but i can deff say richy has spent far to much time on it!
The wind was looking great for the event and on arrival on Saturday it was going off! The beach was nice and hard packed which lead to some sweet riding. The wind was blowing bang onshore leaving huge amounts of space. The 8.5 was boosting some huge airs with massive rotations! and the float was out of this world. The day was spent riding hard and to the Max on the edge.
As the tide started to come in the comp was help in a small corner, not ideal at all with the wind not clean and beach in poor condition but managed 3rd.
After this we headed upto a hillside car park which had a nic kicker on the edge. This lead to some sweet airs off and then back in, and 1 very bent wheel bolt.
In the evening we headed to the Pub for the party which was very good.
Sunday we all woke to heavy rain so the decision was made to head back.
A great location with great potential.
